I specialise in bespoke residential architecture. Homes people can truly live in. Working with clients, homeowners, and developers, I look at how people live their lives, both in day to day needs and more generally style and culture, to create a unique home.

Building on both my rural upbringing in New Zealand and my urban working life in London, I want to give clients buildings that are contemporary, understanding of context and function, allow for evolution as lives and families change, without compromising on the joy of great form and space.

Working as the lead designer I take a collaborative approach to each project, building a team to suit each individual client. I apply a design process unique to every brief and use a range of visual communications to translate the client’s ambitions into a solution they will take as much delight in realising as they do living in.

I have 25 years’ experience across a wide range of building types with projects in London, Bristol, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Switzerland, and New Zealand. Prior to setting up Malcolm Keegan Architecture in 2019, I was a project director in London based practice Acanthus Architects LW, delivering projects in both the public and private sectors.
